> So what is the Foxes Card?

It might look like one, but it's not a credit card, charge card or debit card, although you use it in exactly the same way to shop online, over the telephone, in stores or at a cash machine. It's a prepaid card that you can use wherever you see the Visa sign. That's over 25 million outlets and 1 million ATM's. Load funds on to the card and you're ready to spend. Each time you use the card, the amount is deducted from your balance. When your balance is running low you simply load up again, and so on.

> How do I know my balance?

Each time you load the card we will send you a FREE text message confirming the transaction and giving you the new card balance. You can also find out your balance in the 'My Account' section or by texting BALANCE to 60300. Please note, we will only reply to your text message if the mobile number matches our card records. Text BALANCE is only available in working hours. (8am to 8pm Mon to Fri and 9am to 5pm Sat and Sun). You can also find your card balance by visiting the club shops, your card will be swiped and you will receive a balance print-out.

> What can I use it for?

The Foxes Card is the smarter way to budget and shop - simply load and spend. You can't overspend or go overdrawn, so there are no nasty surprises. It's ideal for controlling your finances; load your spending money to the card and leave the temptation at home.

You can use the Foxes Card wherever you see the Visa sign; at shops, online, at cash machines, at home or abroad.

Use it for booking your travel or even your holiday. It's perfect for family members, perhaps a son or daughter away at University. Get them the Foxes Card and you can send them money instantly, 24hrs a day.

> Do I need a credit history to apply?

Absolutely not. We only need your name, address and a few other details to verify your age and identity. We do not ask any personal finance questions, in fact you don't even need a Bank Account to apply. The ID verification that we carry out has no effect on your credit score and does not show on your credit file. All personal information is treated in accordance with Data Protection guidelines.

> Do I have to be over 18 to apply?

The minimum age for the Foxes Card is 12 years old. If you're under 18 we will ask for your parent/guardian details on the application form.

> How do I apply?

It's easy. Just click on the 'Sign Up Today' button and follow the simple steps. You will be asked some questions so we can verify your details and you will be asked to pay the card issue and activation fee (£9.95) or to complete a Standing Order Mandate.

You can pay this fee by debit or credit card or by purchasing the Foxes Card starter pack from the club shops.

> Do I need to provide ID?

In most cases we are able to verify your ID using the data sources available to us. If the verification is inconclusive we will ask you to provide additional ID. As a fraud prevention measure our verification rules are constantly reviewed and updated. The checks we carry out not only allow us to confirm the identity of the applicant but also to protect you against possible ID theft.

> What do I do when I get my card?

When your card arrives, first sign the back, then call us on 0871 971 1900 to activate it. Your personalised card will arrive with a pack of useful information including how and where to load your card. Once you have activated your card we will release your unique PIN code and internet log-on codes (so you can manage your account on line).

> How do I load my card?

When you receive your card we will also send you a Bank paying-in book, standing order form and employer instruction form as well as other useful hints and tips on loading and spending. You can load and top-up your card in a number of ways :-

  • Standing Order
    Ideal for transferring your spending money to the card every month
  • Wages
    You can have your salary paid directly to the card
  • At the Bank
    You can pay in cash at any RBS NatWest branch and it will be loaded to your card
  • Bank transfer
    Transfer money to your card, whenever you like
  • Online
    Top-up online with a debit or credit card, ideal for when you are going away
  • At the stadium
    Visit the top-up point either with cash or debit/credit card

> When is the money on my card and ready to spend?

It depends on how you choose to load it. Loading your card via the Bank channels will normally take two working days to clear. Top-ups online or at the stadium are instant. Every time money is loaded to your card you receive a text message confirming the amount and the new card balance

> Can I have a statement?

Your statement is available online, 24hours a day and can be accessed using the internet log-in codes that will be sent with your PIN code. If you would prefer a paper statement you will need to contact us. Paper statements incur a fee, as shown in the 'What does it cost?' section.

> Can I withdraw money at cash machines?

Yes you can, wherever you see the Visa sign. Fees apply. Please be careful as some cash machines charge an additional 'convenience' fee, you are normally advised before completing the transaction.

> Can I use my card abroad?

Anywhere in the world where you see the Visa acceptance mark. That's over 25 million outlets and 1.2 million cash machines. The card is issued with £ Sterling as the base currency, transactions in other currencies will be converted at the Bank exchange rate on the day.

> Can I use the card online?

Yes, wherever you see the Visa acceptance mark. You will need the 3 digit CVV code shown on the signature strip on the reverse of your card.

> My card has been lost or stolen, what do I do?

Don't worry. Remember your card's protected by your PIN so it's safer than cash. Call us immediately on 0845 521 2341 and we will block the card so it can't be used. Within the next 7 days we will issue you with a replacement card and transfer your old balance to this card. There is a fee of £4.95 towards our expenses, which will be deducted from the transfer. Please note : Calls may be monitored or recorded.

> What if I want to cancel my card?

Should you decide, for whatever reason, you no longer want the Foxes Card cut it up and send it to us and we will refund the balance by cheque, minus our administration fee. If you do not cancel an unwanted card you will still be asked to pay the annual fee..
